Hypertext Semantics for Web Applications
نویسندگان
چکیده
Web applications integrate dynamic pages for publishing data, functions for content management, and generic business services. To support the model-driven design and automatic generation of Web applications, an extended notion of hypertext is required, whose semantics is scarcely investigated. In this paper, we analyse and classify the semantic problems encountered in the computation of Web pages, characterised by multiple interrelated pieces of content, inter-page and intra-page navigation, and content update operations. The identified semantic framework may help in better understanding the existing Web conceptual models, and in reasoning at a higher level about the implementation problems daily faced by Web developers.

Hierarchical Fuzzy Clustering Semantics (HFCS) in Web Document for Discovering Latent Semantics
This paper discusses about the future of the World Wide Web development, called Semantic Web. Undoubtedly, Web service is one of the most important services on the Internet, which has had the greatest impact on the generalization of the Internet in human societies. Internet penetration has been an effective factor in growth of the volume of information on the Web. The massive growth of informat...
متن کاملAn Object-Oriented Model (not only) for Hypertext in the Web
Hypertext in the Web suffers from the poorly reversible mapping of high-level design to the resource-oriented Web implementation model. In a Web implementation, higher-level concepts such as typed links, hypertext graphs and navigation are instantiated in untyped and incoherent Web links embedded in resources. We might call this the "Hypertext gets lost in Web space" problem. This problem is we...
متن کاملRelevance Feedback Between Hypertext and Semantic Search
Relevance feedback is one method for creating a ‘virtuous cycle’ as put by Baeza-Yates between semantics and search. Previous approaches to search have generally considered the Semantic Web and hypertext Web search to be entirely disparate, indexing and searching over different domains. While relevance feedback have traditionally improved information retrieval performance, relevance feedback is...
متن کاملDescribing LDP Applications with the Hydra Core Vocabulary
The Linked Data Platform (LDP) W3C Recommendation provides a standard protocol and a set of best practices for the development of read-write Linked Data applications based on HTTP access to Web resources that describe their state using the RDF data model. The Hydra Core Vocabulary is an initiative to define a lightweight vocabulary to describe hypermedia-driven Web APIs. By specifying concepts ...
متن کاملIssues in Monitoring Web Data
The web is turning from a collection of static documents to a global source of dynamic knowledge. First, HTML is increasingly complemented by the more structured XML format augmented with mechanisms for providing semantics such as RDF. Also, we believe that the very passive vision of web sites promoted by the current HTTP will soon turn into a much more active one based on pub/sub and web servi...
